Twas a Gray Day

It was rather cloudy with a spot of rain today but I did manage to scamper out for a bit this morning and catch a spot of sun to take this picture in. I had actually just finished sewing when I took the picture. It’s another sample for the quilt store. I used the “Little Belle Skirts” pattern from Favorite Things. It was pretty easy, it took me not quite three hours to make. Although the instructions were ever so slightly vague at times but it wasn’t hard to figure out what they meant. The pictures were a big help in that respect! I made the size 9/10 so that Flopsy could model it. It fit her very well in the waist and hips but it was very short which, I think, is the way it’s supposed to be as it’s short on the model on the pattern cover.
